Holy cow, A-kon is in a week! I'm so excited, and totally not stressing out since I finished my new costume for it (well, sans a prop, but that's pretty minor).  So things are looking good for A-kon!

I've got a couple photoshoots lined up on Saturday for my new costume, so hopefully I'll have some brand-spanking-new costume photos to post here soon! ^.^  I'm also really looking forward to meeting cosplayers local to the area (or TX, for that matter!), and I'm already surprised at how many I've been able to meet through DA!  It's a dream of mine to have a local group of cosplay friends to hang out with and glean inspiration from, since I've never had that before.

Also, in more personal news, I'm getting married tomorrow!  I was hesitant to mention anything regarding that here, since I like to keep DA for cosplay and art-related things.  We're having a "Mini Honeymoon" this weekend, staying downtown in a fancy hotel, and then our REAL honeymoon will be later into June, since we're going on a fabulous Alaskan cruise!

Needless to say, June will be a busy month!
